I am putting in a f13 cam in my car here soon and i kno im going to need a tune so i have heard a lil about the crane cams handheld and heard that you can adjust it to different size cams and everything. How is it? Also how is the tune compared to sending your pcm out to get tuned. I like being able to do the feature my self and adjusting the rpms with the crane cam handheld but i want to kno how it is compared to sending out your pcm. Also is there any other programmers out there that can adjust for cams and stuff too and how do they compare. I did a search and found nothing about the crane cams handheld people just said it was good on stock and this and that. I also saw a little bit about the diablo and vinci.

I think the Crane tuner is made to work with Crane cams. If you put in a cam that is not the same duration and lift etc. as a Crane then the tune will not be right.
I tried ordered tunes when I first started and they didn't work for me. It was like someone else tuning the car the way they wanted and not what I wanted. You end up trying another and another and they are never right. Good luck. I ended up buying EFILive and learning how to tune myself. Now I can make everything the way I want and not like someone else wants.

here's the tutorial i made about the vinci/crane tuner. http://www.stealthram.com/vhptuner.htm it's not made specific to vinci/crane cams. you'll see the parameters for each tune at the bottom. i use it on both cars.

I see the parameters are for cam # 4 the highest are 228 and 232. Do you think this tune will still work on the f13 230 232?
