Mine is currently set at 7.30 at 176*.

I would think that you need to add LTIT and STIT. Say your RAF is setup @ 7.5 and between your STIT and LTIT it adds another lb of air or so...

Yeah, that's true. Maybe a better question would be what is dynamic airflow at 176?

My dynamic airflow at 900 rpm idle with NW 90mm TB is 8.90 g/sec. Trims are 0. IAC counts are around 30 with AC off when fully warm (176f).

My dynamic airflow at 875 rpm idle with a stock ported TB is 8.75 g/sec in park when fully warm (180f).

I have 10 g/sec in the RAF table at 80c. Any value much below that and the car is hard to start.

Ok, I understand why idle speed and A4 v. M6 (delta spinning mass) would matter, but why should the TB effect the amount of air needed? If the tB is relevant, wouldn't you need to know how much the blade is opened at idle etc?

Also is valve overlap (i.e cam size) a variable to be accounted for?

If we're looking at cam sizes, we really need to look at duration and overlap at .006".

I'll go first: Thunder TRak cam 285/285 @ .006". 61 degrees of overlap at .006".
