Hi...

What is the best shifting point for my A4 3.73 gear ratio? Some thing you tried before.

what do you have done? how high can you spin the car? how high does it make power on a dyno?

Throw in your converters shift extension and Torque multiplication curve as another variable too.

If it is just a straight gears swap (3.23 --> 3.73), then leave the RPM shift point alone and multiply the MPH shift tables by 86.6%.

If you are after the most (or optimum) performance, then you need to do as previously posted and take into consideration the power band and converter characteristics. Also, you may want to test out or fine tune your settings at the track. Use the MPH to gage your progress, ET and 60' won't matter much.
