can someone please explain to me what exactly they are? Ive never seen an explination to what the 2 and 3 bar is all about. All i know is they're for FI and more expensive to do.

 

permanent SD extended beyond 105kPa for tables that reference MAP.
basically allows for true mapping all the engine characteristic under positive boost.
in our case, it also allows for using dual spark map, unlike normal 'just disable MAF fail freq' SD where you get permanently downgraded to just one spark table.
