ls1 edit locked pcm?? read and write with HPTuners??

Just curious..have a friend with a mailorder tune...and she said they used LS1 edit and she said the guy loks the PCM's...
just want to know If I can read her PCM....then IF need be do a full rewrite...
Just want to fix her crappy tune...I'm not going to mentionthe tuners name...but I'll say that a lot of people dislike this guy who did it...

HPT will read and write LS1edit locked PCMs. No need to do a full rewrite either. I have done one.
