Make sure you get your idle trims in line and your IAC counts down too.

The FAQs and Stickies are there for a reason. There are pretty in depth instructions on how to do your VE, MAF, PE, Timing, Idle, and pretty much anything else, and in what order to do them.

If you want to do it how most people do it, just follow the steps in the FAQs. Its pretty easy and self explanatory. If you want, I live over by SDSU and you can stop by sometime and I'll show you what I have for reference material and I'll give you a hand with anything that you need help with.

when tuning you should disable DFCO so it doesnt skew your A/F in any cells as it removes all gas...when done tuning you can re-enable it...

with a wideband you can tune your PE at the same time you do your VE
you just tune it like you are going to run it....use Wideband AFR error % to get it right

do the same procedure for the MAF...it just takes way less time cause there are less cells to have to fill in a MAF table then in a VE table

I have a bunch of HPTuners 2.0 histograms to help out if you check my signature..I am a contributor to HP Tuners 2.0
