98 & SD Tuning on A4

98 & SD Tuning on A4

I did some searching and really have not come up with any solid answers.....

Im going to buy EFIs Tuning software(when it comes out for 98s) or HPtuners....

Which is going to be better for SD tuning on a 98?

Also people brough up shifting issues with 98s with A4 trannys....is their a solution to this?

It's available now as the V7.3 011 pre-release.

either will get the job done SD tuning up to the point when you go forced inductino

hptuners will fix the problem for you once you send them your .hpt file...i think efilive allows you to view & change the needed parameters to get it to shift correctly.

EFI Live has the transmission tables that will allow you to correct this problem.

Send them the file and they'll correct it. Mine ran great in SD mode, but i chose to run my maf for daily driving, its 30* here one day, 80* the next.
