So you ended up recalibrating your MAF then? Once that was done, things stayed in line?

Yes sir. I was surprised myself but it seems to be working fine and the mileage is close to what it was stock...sort of.

Steel Chicken, sorry I never seem to got a reponse until just now on this thread but basically your problem is you need to recalibrate your MAF. Add histogram and use PIDs LTFT+STFT. Or use soundengineer's prebuilt ones.
http://www.audiohelix.com/file/

If yours are horribly off like showing up +/- 25 in cells you should use the MAF by Dynamic Air, then tweak it with the MAF with LTFT/STFT histogram. It will get it almost dead on to what you saw with your car in SD mode.

Thanks for the response. I used the maf calculator spreadsheet in the FAQ and logged my MAF Mhz tonight. ill program it before I head into work tommorrow and see how she runs. the hardest part was getting HPTuners to log MAF Mhz, LOL

Instead of using the spreadsheets, use the histograms from soundengineer's website, there is no need to use the spread sheets anymore because the histogram allows you to log that data exactly the way you like.

Ill keep that in mind for next time. It did work pretty well though. MAF rescaled nicely, and throttle response is definitely improved. Illl give it the rest of the week to learn its trims and see where it is.
