Tuning Newbie I'm just about to purchase hp tuners for my 98 Z. I'm wondering what package I'm gonna need. Enhanced IO, VCM Enhancements???? I'm confused!
Can I get away with the basic $499 package??? If not the wife is gonna

We got a 05 GTO for my wife (wich is probably going to be staying mostly stock) So is there a package for both cars?
I don't plan on doing alot of tuning, I just figure that in the long run, buying my own copy of HP is going to be cheaper than trying to get a mail order tune. BTW: I'm doing H/C, headers/ORY, AIR delete, EGR,etc.

EIO is for hooking a WB up for tuning as well. you CAN get away with it for now but getting a wideband would help out tons. yes you can get one lic. for your car and one for hers. either wya its a lot better than a mail order tune, even without the WB.
