Basic tuning question
Basic tuning question I've been running cam and headers for a couple of years and 20,000 miles now (38k total miles on my ride) and I think my power production is a little off. Since adding the cam and getting it tuned by MTI, I've added Moser 12 bolt + 4.10s, FTRA and Shaner ported TB - however - I've only added 0.17 and 0.48 mph in the quarter with those mods.
Can a car over time get "out of tune?" It seems like I should be running faster than I am. I have changed spark plugs once, but would I benefit noticably from an updated tune, new fuel filter, fuel injectors, timing chain, etc.?
Conversely, would adding the FTRA and ported TB not work with the original tune that came with the cam? I did have the speedo recalibrated after the 4.10 install btw.

Is is possible to lose a couple of tenths by virtue of loosened timing chain, dirty fuel injectors, old spark plug wires, old fuel filter... etc? More importantly, will these things start loosing effectivenss after 38k miles?
