I guess the choice is your to make. Are they coated on the inside also, or just he outside?

Check for leaks, perhaps check the tubes witha thermal gun to see where heat drops off at, and then MAYBE wrap them. But, as I said, on the Vipers they move the 02 into a primary tube if its too far back.

what coating.....
I ask because liek I said above...normal coating is just hit or miss.... you need a coating that is extremely good at keeping heat in the pipes...usually a coating designed for turbo heat....or better. and like I said...you would still need the bosch #13111

I haven't used wrap on S/S headers, but just keep in mind that it does lead to massive tube erosion on mild steel headers.
I called ThermoTec and spoke with one of the product engineers. He agreed about the durability issues with mild steel headers after being wrapped. BUT, he also pointed out that he had never seen or heard of 304 SS (or better quality) headers having any problems from being wrapped. He also made mention that he was assuming the best case headers would have SS welds also...
