Default Desired Idle Airflow

There is a PID for "Desired Idle Airflow" which looks like it is the sum of the RAF table value + LTIT + STIT. If I start up from cold and log this, will this give the right values to use in my RAF table? I tried this once and it seems I overshot the mark so I'm wondering if this doesn't work or if the overshoot was related to another factor such as reset LTRIMs or other changes that I made.

when I tune for idle i take the ltit+stit and add it to the desired airflow table. That pid seems to be doing the same and yes it will overshoot and undershoot at times and needa little tweaking. I would prolly error on the side where the PCM is subtracting air rather than adding air.
