Code p0332 Knock Sensor Low Input
I noticed my truck 2002 5.3 A4 throwing this code (p0332 Knock Sensor 2 Low Input Bank 2) tonight. Can anyone elaborate on what this code means?
Does it mean the sensor is completely bad and not showing any signal?
Or does it mean the sensor is on the way out....and it is time to replace it.
Can you tell which sensor it is by the code, instead of guessing or replacing both?
One last thing guys, I noticed a significant power loss over the weekend. Could the be atributed to the sensor problems?
Thanks guys,
Ryan

A knock sensor code will force the PCM to use the low octane fuel table which will cause a decrease in power. I'm guessing one of the knock sensors is corroded. Have you ever sprayed down the engine bay? I had to change one out a couple weeks ago due to corrosion.

The engine was pressure washed before I bought it I am sure. I guess that would have something to do with it. It says sensor 2 bank 2, can you tell me which one that would be?
