vehicle codes on high idle

I had my car scanned at advanced autoparts store because it had a high idle. Its a 99 ss camaro. It has no ses light on. The Security light is always lit though. This is word for word what the scan tool printed:

Vehicle scanned
1999 camaro
G=5.7L
Manual trans

Set DTCs (codes)

History DTC P0102
MAF of VAT
Circuit Low Input

MIL NO REQUESTED
Since ign PASS
Since Clear P/T

Hope this makes since to someone. The guys at AAP store had no idea what anything meant!

Could possibly be your MAF, if you are a Fbody, disconnect and see how it runs, (you will be in SD mode) and if it runs fine, then most likely your MAF is bad or the calibration is horribly off on the MAF. But that would only be the case if someone has changed your tune.

Failed MAF, disconected MAF or possibly just a dirty air filter. Or a air leak behind the MAF allowing engine to run without MAF seeing adequate airflow.
