Ported MAF and MAFT question
I added a ported MAF and MAFT set at +5/+2 and got my O2s at 890-910 with 25-27* timing at WOT. Is there a way to get some more timing by dropping the non WOT fuel but adding WOT or am I better off this way? Any suggestions? I am still learning what these LS1s like

Re: Ported MAF and MAFT question
I would like to know too...I just adjusted mine too...
I still haven't ported my MAF, but I was running high 14 AFR's on the dyno down low and low low 12's up high for AFR's, therefore I put the base setting to 5% rich and the WOT setting to 2% lean...is that good...and what would I set it to if I ported the MAF...I have friends with A-tap...I'm just wondering...
Thanks

The Base seting will have no effect on timing when you are at WOT. From what I have seen on my car I get more timing when I richen up the WOT setting. Just play with it over several days . Get an AutoTap and burn some gas. If I can help let me know.

I thought I remembered reading some were leaning out base to get the LTtrims adding fuel and that would add timing too or something to that effect.
Can you give some examples of how much timing you got from different settings and if possibly it was from a different IAT or so other factor? THere seems to be much more factors that affect timing than my OBD1 car. It is dead on 36-37* every time no matter what.
