Default limp mode??

How can you tell if you are running in limp mode? I am getting ready to fire up the LS1 and need to know if it is running right.
thanks

check to see if you have an SES light, then check the manual. blinking or solid mean diff things.

Does your wiring harness have a provision for the SES light? If so that could give you an indication. A scan tool such as Autotap could tell you if it's setting any codes.
Otherwise, just fire that baby up and see how she does. At some point you will probably want to scan for codes.
Good luck.
