Default Shift point calculator, accurate?

http://www.prestage.com/community/carmath/dynochart.asp

I was wondering if anybody has used this and is it accurate? or do you set your shift points just by looking at your dyno graph and go how many rpms over your max rwhp?

thanks

Default

if you have an M6 .. yes any calculator is accurate ( I didn't check out your link)

But Autos have to factor in efficiency of the torque converter...... (an auto isn't 1:1 input vs output... unless the TC is locked and HOLDING)
