Just got a Cam Well i own a 98WS6 6spd I have whisperlid k&n filter,centerforce clutch,and pro 5.0 shifter. I just got my car back today after getting installed a 224/228 cam. It sounds good but my car lost power and runs bad now, my friends tell me its because I need to get my computer programed also need headers for better flow.
Have any of u guys had this problem.

Re: Just got a Cam with a 224/228 camshaft I would definitely consider custom programming - but even before that - headers! (I would do headers before a camshafT).
On the other hand if you actually lost power all over there is probably a mechanical problem - even with stock tuning you should pick up. Have you actually dynoed it or are you just going by "feel". Do you have any scan tools available to you?
