Idle suggestions?

Idle suggestions? I am having problems getting my car to idle. I wanted to get a better idle without having to drill out the throttle body. I have a heads/cam/intake 98 Z28. I figured since the cam was so small that I shouldn't have any problems...but I do. I have a 215/221 114 Comp Cam. I raised the idle to 800 but it still won't idle unless it is a cold start. The car will die under sudden stops. We tried to rescale the ported Maf but it made it worse. I was thinking about closing up the Borla since I am running without a plate and no cats. Do you think that will help anything? Anyone else have any suggestions?
