New programs require battery disconnect... Strange thing happening.. first 8-10 new programs in my car, no problem.
Now, the DIC is completely locked up after a new program.. only way to reset is to disconnect the battery, wait a bit, and hook it back up.
Anyone else with this mystery????

Re: New programs require battery disconnect... Just happened to me. I think it was upload number 6. Uploaded fine and then all my gauges died and it just said DOOR AJAR, even after I pulled the key.
Disconnected the battery for about 30 seconds and everything was fine.
Mine is a 99, BTW.

Re: New programs require battery disconnect... Yeah, exactly what happened to me.. door ajar. next time it was coolant temp, etc... Car starts but dash is dead so you can't clear the codes, etc.

Re: New programs require battery disconnect... I went in with Autotap and got an error message along the lines of TAC -> Serial error. Cleared the code but it didn't help, until I unplugged the battery.
