Default Please Help! How does someone remove the rear O2 signal

Need some assistance. When I removed the cats and the rear O2 sensors I obviously got a SES light and my car wont idle. Is there a way with LS1 edit I can fix my problem or do I have to buy those O2 simms?

I haven't tried it, but I'd guess that you just need to disable all the tests that reference Bank X Sensor 2. Here's a list from a quick glance:

P0138
P0140
P0141
P0157
P0158
P0160
P0161
P0420
P0430
P1134
P1154

The P0420 and P0430 are the CAT tests so you may be okay with just deleting those if you're going to leave the sensors in place. I'm not really sure.

Would having no rear O2 sensors cause the car not to idle or raise rpm's when hitting the gas pedal? Code number P0506 poppped out which is low idle speed. Would this be the cause of it?

I've been running w/o any rear 02 sensors and no cats for ~1 1/2 years. . . it throws a code but has absolutely NO effect on idle, performance, etc.

Would changing the plugs to TR6 and gapping them to .35 affect idle? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

One more thing I forgot to mention, I also removed the EGR assembly and added restrictor plates on the headers would this cause the car not to idle if not flashed out of the PCM?

Well, I haven't had the EGR hooked up for the same time. . .and I've always run TR6's, but at ~.045" .

I think you may have issues somewhere else. . .
