Help Car Runs Like Junk I am working on my brothers 1997 c5 A4 it has H/C, LT Headers, ls6 mainfoild and vortex rammer intake tunned and full install at A&A. The car almost dies and idles up and down and smells like it is running VERY rich. The check engine light is on with code 0300. So I thought it needed a tune up and did the following to the car. I took a compression test and I have 160 in all cylinders I did a full tune up Plugs TR55, MSD wires, PVC valve, fuel filter and cleaned the air cleaner. After all that the car still runs like it is going to die and sputers and it smells rich so no change. The battery is good and the altenater is good. I am not sure what to check next. Please Help

Try resetting the PCM to see if maybe it needs to be retuned. If it wasn't done properly the first time or something has changed (done any other mods since then?), then it might need to be redone. Have you checked to make sure all cylinders are firing? It's possible a coilpack went bad.
