Default Deleting SES light???

With LS1 edit, can you delete one factor that trips the SES light or do you delete all of them?
I mean if you get rid of the EGR valve, can you just delete the EGR valve function so the other sensors will work, or do have to delete the light alltogether where none of the sensors will trip the SES light (like O2s, knock sensors etc.)

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

It is code specific, not a generic 'don't light the light'. For example, if the MAF fails, it will still light the light.

So if it trips the EGR code, the SES light will not come on if that code has been deleted, right? OK, thanks.
