how to improve idle with LS1 edit?
But I have the usual idle problems. They started after my MTI B1 cam install that was done at MTI. I know that the hole in my TB was enlarged, but I haven't measured the size. I do have MTI tuning with idle set to 950 in park and 850 in drive.
I have an A4 with Vig 2800 with 3.73 gears in the stock rear end.
I have the usual problems that most people have with stock programming (surging, car jerking on decel at 35 mph and less, car dying, tough warm starts) The car does have great cold starts.
I have been monitoring the IAC Motor Pintle Position with ATAP and it seems low during my idle problems. I am getting numbers in the range of 14 and lower, even hitting 0 a few times. I do not get an SES light.
What can be done with LS1 edit do improve the IAC Motor Pintle Position? I know about bumping up idle speed, but are there other things that can be done?
BTW, I have called MTI and they would just send out my PCM. So I am asking so that I won't have to send out the PCM. I can live with the problems until 2001 LS1 edit is out.
Thanks for any input

at various temperatures from -40 to 284 degrees.
For the Engine tune, there are various limiters, fuel and timing tables you may edit.
Nothing specific about controlling the the IAC Motor Pintle Position directly.
Is there some other parmeters that might affect the behavior of the IAC Motor?
