what can ls1 edit replace?
what can ls1 edit replace? if i were to buy ls1 edit would i still need:
1)ATAP
2)MAFT
3)HPP3
4)O2 Simms
if i can use ls1 edit for all the functions of those then im gonna buy it asap!
also will it tune idle problems after a cam install as i plan on doing that soon too!

yes it will tune for a cam, in fact I have both a cam and Edit on the way. I have been told that it might be good to drill out the throttle blade a small bit (till the IAC counts are slightly above where you want them), and use Edit to tune after that

Re: what can ls1 edit replace? you need atap or a wideband to tune with. I really like the flexibility of ls1edit. i sent my 36#injectors in this morning for warranty replacement. now what to do...i need to drive my car. i slapped the stock injectors back in..put together a ls1edit file with the stock injector settings (took about 5-10mins for this rookie) and uploaded the new program. now I am riding around till my new injectors get here <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> You will love it once you get over the "where do i start" syndrome. I did what you are thinking, sold my stuff to buy ls1edit. Dont forget you will need a laptop at the track to program.
