more timing with positive LTRIMS?
The debate continues...I've seen people say to get the ltrims to zero at cruise. I've seen people say to get them at a slight negative number because then the PCM will not add fuel. Finally, I've seen people say to get the LTRIMS to about + 10%, as it increases timing, thus, more power.
So, since there is no clear cut answer it seems, would you all reply to what you think, and WHY?
Obviously I want the most power at WOT.
This is confusing stuff.

Then with my L-terms +5% cruising and +6% WOT I'm getting 28deg timing.
So I'm thinking the MAFT has a direct affect on timing.
<strong>By my experience when I get - L-terms while cruising and 0% WOT my timiming is pulled back to 22 deg WOT.
Then with my L-terms +5% cruising and +6% WOT I'm getting 28deg timing.

Yes I got rid of it because of the timing,I'm dynoing this Saturday to see the real story.
My sig has #'s of the MAFT.My A/F without the MAFT is a little richer.92WOT,but the seat of the pants seem to tell me there is more power.
Also with the MAFT my Nitrous A/F's were all over the place. Each run was different from the last.13-1 down to 11-1 with the same bottle pressure.
