99 automatic pcm in place of a 6speed pcm? I'm wanting to know if an automatic pcm will work in a 6 speed car if I turn off all the automatic stuff in EFILive flashscan. I'm going to be running a 4l80e with a TCI T-com, so I don't need the pcm to control a tranny. Thanks a lot.

You can set up your computer to run that 4l80e. In Flashscan there is a feature that allows you to transfer whole segments. That means you just find another file with the trans you are going to use and then you make sure the operating system is the same, then you transfer the transmission stuff over and you are done, in 3 presses of a mouseclick....
Then you just have to change a couple of pins on the transmission plug.
No need for an expensive transmission controller.
