When do I need to do a Crank Position Relearn?

When do I need to do a Crank Position Relearn? Subject says it all.
I'm hoping to pick up for car tonight or tomorrow with a new MMS 388 motor. I'm going to be tuning with Ls1edit.
If I need to do it, should I have the dealer do it and then re-download the program in the car or can they do it after I flash the computer and then if I reflash will it still be set?

Re: When do I need to do a Crank Position Relearn? Talked to the shop, they started it up but it stalls (A4) with stock programming and 30lb injectors. Catback wasn't installed yet and they said it sounded like an ASA motor. Oh well, I'll flash it with LS1edit with a program I put together on Wednesday or Thursday and hopefully won't need the crank relearn.
