Need help installing LS1 edit on my puter!!

Ok im lost here... i got a LS1_ED1 and a LS1_ED2.. then i have a LS197-8??
i dont see a ED3 file?
also when i click on the setup in the ED2 file it says insert disk? i have no clue what i am doing here... can anyone help???

Well, i unzipped everything into the same folder, i got the TUNE it program to run and install. I can get to it under programs/tuneitup/ls1program
so i guess if i got that to install i did everything allright?
how will i know if i didnt do something right? I take it wont read my cars pcm right?

I had a hard time also, but once in it was a piece of cake to use.
The thing I found funny is you will have 2 programs essentially. One called LS1 Edit the other is LS1 Program, use LS1 Prog to read the PCM, then close it and open LS1 Edit to make changes. Then open LS1 Prog to re-flash the PCM. It's very easy though.

lol.. i see the ls1 edit program one above the LS1 program...
i dont have ny cable yet, so im just playing with it on my desktop.. i guess that explains why you have to open a file to get anything to show up![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
cause when i open LS1 edit, its just a little box that says for offroad use only, edit at your own risk.. and it has 2 little columns on the right to type stuff in...
