02 Sensor harness bad? Getting SES
My problem started with an SES light. According to the codes, they were the rear exhaust 02 sensors. (I have no cats, just simms). So,I started by replacing the two 02 simms with some that a friend had. The SES light came back on.So after Autotapping, the driver side was reading 1.x+ and the passenger was at about .8 . So Tonight we checked the 02 simms (old and new)and they all read .5 - .6 ohms. (Off of the car,I'm not sure if we had the meter on the right setting)
Well, we reinstalled two of the 02 simms and swapped sides and
re-Autotapped and the driver side is still reading
1.x+ The passenger reads fine.
This leads me to believe that the drivers side wire for the rear 02 has rubbed or may have come in contact with the header causing it to melt, thus giving us a fubar reading. Anyone had this problem before? Any thoughts? TIA
