Idle issue after WOT
I was tuning a good heads/cam car last night (430ish RWHP with 12.6 AFR's), and had the idle, ignition tables, and fuels table down pretty good. The car idles good at a stop, warm or cold. However when driving the car WOT through a few gears and then putting it in neutral it doesn't want to idle. If I shift around 6200 then go into neutral (with the car still at speed) it will almost die and drop down to 600RPM, but then catch itself. If I shift at 6800 then go into neutral then car will die.
Anyone seen this before on a heads/cam car? My twin turbo SS would do this too but I attribute it to the boost and not having a blow off valve.
Is it possible there is an underspeed and overspeed idle table not revealed in LS1 Edit?

Re: Idle issue after WOT
My car does the same after I load a new flash from LS1-Edit. However, after driving a day or two, it "relearns" something and the problem goes away. I think that may be what they speak of when mentioning idle re-learn. Good Luck

Re: Idle issue after WOT
There are at least throttle follower tables that adjust the IAC position with respect to vehicle speed that are missing from ls1 edit. Ken made an earlier post indicating he had found them and that they could be introduced in the next revision of ls1 edit. I don't know if there is actually a desired idle speed vs rpm table - but the throttle follower table has the same effect.
