Default Max allowed enrichment?

if the MAx PE is set to say 1.2000 and in tuning you want to go to 1.2500 on the power table, is it neccesary to up the Max PE to 1.2500 or higher? does upping that have any effect on PE if no other changers are made? or is it simply a limit to what the computer will add?

I actualy did a search but didnt see anything about this

Im full of questions today...

thanks

From talking with Fireball, I think the answer is no. Anybody know for sure?

It does not do anything by itself unless you have some strange condition (Max l-trims, etc.) that is causing you to exceed this value already.

I have always increased it if I wanted to use values greater than it in the table - if this is required, I don't know - but it doesn't hurt.
