Default Non Digital To Digital Gauge Swap

Is it possible to swap a 96 (no digital) TA gauge cluster out to a 2000 TA (digital) Cluster, if so how would I do this...

(not sure if this is the right forum)

not sure about the 96 cars, but the 97 cars need to use the 97 cluster, a friend of mine did that swap.

The 99-02 clusters are different.
