i found a knock warning device on jeggs that warns you if there is knock, the problem is it uses it's own seperate knock sensor ( looks exactly like the stock one).
my question is , could i use the original sensor and just splice into it ?? if so do i connect it ( the wires to the warning box) in series or in parallel????

No, you can't use your stock K-sensor to operate that device, it will change the overal impedance being recognized by the PCM. That setup uses its own K-sensor because it is designed to just give you a readout whenever it detects audible knock, but has nothing to do with operation of your vehicle.
AutoTap is the best way to monitor knock retard and see what your PCM is doing.
