Default O2 readings

This just won't go away...

Would a loose sensor or a header leak cause that bank to read leaner than the other? Or richer than the other?

Every single time I've used an ATAP since putting on the headers, bank 1 precat reads around .86-.87, and bank 2 precat reads around .90-.91. I know that the O2 sensor gasket on the passenger side (bank 2?) is not completely seated (stripped threads)...could this be the problem? Anything else that might be causing this?

LTFT's are fine: ~4-7...WOT O2's are mentioned above. I do have ported MAF ends, but with the MAFT, I have been able to lower the LTFTs and get the O2's between .890-.910...on one bank..

I'm getting some knock from around 4500rpm all the way up to redline, and I'm just trying to track down why...

thanks,
Shane

Hmmm...hadn't thought about switching them - I'll check into it! Thanks for the suggestion... That means I may have to fix the stripped threads though, which may fix the problem anyway?

Red - I'm no where near the status of forced induction, but do you think I could be seeing some problem or clog with my fuel rails? Hrm...

thanks again,
Shane

The force induction guys notice it because the fuel pressure is upped with the boost 1:1. The crossover pipe and damper seem to cause the problems. If you are not making a ton of power probably 550 rwhp, you probably just have one of the problems listed above.

Yea, an air leak would do that to you. Did you try switching the sensors around to see it the problem follows it?

Another thing to keep in mind. These sensors reference outside air (right at the connector to the sensor) so make sure nothing is damaged/crimped in there.

People with Forced Induction have noticed that the right bank will be leaner than the left bank of cylinder due to limitations in the stock fuel rails. They are not to even when you are running a high flowrate through them.
