About a week after I installed my SLP LT's and cats my SES light came on. I've been driving the car regularly for the last week and the only problem I've encountered was the y-pipe banging. Over this week I've been trying to adjust the y-pipe. The SES light came on two days after the last time I messed with the y-pipe. I checked all the O2 sensors to make sure they were still connected properly, I checked the A.I.R. tube connections, and I check to make sure no wires were burned. The only potential problem I found was that the rubber heat shield around some of the wires was burned a little, but not thru to the wires.
Does any one have an Idea of what could be wrong? Unfortunately, an AutoTap is not in the budget in the near future.
Sorry the question was so long!
Thanks,

Try clearing the code and see if it goes away. Both times ive installed headers on an ls1 they had that same code within a week, cleared it and it never came back. Ive had my headers for 4-5 months and never had the code come back. Nothing to worry about if it goes away.

I'll try clearing the code and see what happens. Just out of curiousity which side is the 1 bank, driver's side or passangers side?

OK, I stopped at AutoZone and they ran the code for me. It came up as an O2 heater circuit on the 1 bank 1 sensor. Which sensor is that and what does that mean?
Thanks,
