hit limiter on 1-2 shift what to do -1mph with hypertech?

hit limiter on 1-2 shift what to do -1mph with hypertech? After changing my charger pulley When I smash it out of the hole I hit the limiter on the shift from 1st - 2nd.
my shift points are all set at stock and shift firmness at 75%.
my rev limiter is at 6400 and I am afraid of just going up on the limiter???
should I just go minus -1 on the 1-2 shift?
I am also wondering if I should leave it alone since I will be running et streets most of the time when racing it on the street and MAYBE then it'll hook up and not bang the limiter from spinning?????????

Re: hit limiter on 1-2 shift what to do -1mph with hypertech? Your choices are to reduce shift points or up the limiter (directly). If you are comfortable with your limiter try reducing the poitns.
You might also try a greater line pressure (to increase shift speed). I would also verify you tranny fluid level.

Re: hit limiter on 1-2 shift what to do -1mph with hypertech? Take the Rev Limiter to 6600... I say that's better than slamming against the rev limit all the time. It'll only be there for a split sec.
I had mine set at 6600 ever since I was able to. When I put the SC in, I bumped to 6800. It will sometimes rev as high as 66xx and even 6700 if I spin and it revs really quickly.
The only guys I've heard of hurting their valvetrains due to over rev are M6's.
