H/C Problem, need help...
I am a fairly new LS1Edit user, but I think that I have been relatively successful up to this point!
Here are a list of my engine mods:
- Stock exhaust w/no cats & o2 sims
- Katech Ported TB
- SLP 85mm MAF
- LS6 Intake no/EGR
- !AIR & !EGR
- ARE Stage 2 Heads (not milled 2.08/1.60)
- Turbo Cam 218/218 .518 114
- 38 lb/hr. lucas injectors
- NGK TR-6 plugs gapped @ .35
- Taylor Wires
- ASP Pulleys
Problem:
At WOT the car falls on its face at 3500 and above...after it hits 3500 it will SLOWLY climb to 4000 and then RPMs will steadily drop until I lift.
O2 readings are extremely rich .930 and higher and I am getting no knock retard at all.
I am setting a high MAF code at 3500 rpm...the sensor is maxing at 58 g/sec.
I have 18" of vacuum at idle, so I do not think that there is a vacuum leak.
Diagnosis:
I unplugged the MAF and the car will pull through the RPM band, but I am seeing O2s of .940-.960 and it feels sluggish because it is so rich.
I plugged the MAF back in and tried leaning the car out via the PE vs. RPM table, but it did not help.
History:
The 85mm MAF worked fine when my car had the TTs on it.
I adjusted the Injector Flow Rate table to accomodate for the 38 lb/hr. injectors based on the spreadsheet that ChrisB posted.
So ???
I'm thinking that the MAF is bad or there is a parameter in LS1Edit related to the MAF that I need to tweak?
I am going to try my stock MAF when I get a chance, but that won't be for a few days when I am home. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott

Just don't scrub the wires, use the spray cleaner, and if necessary, a light brush with a q-tip.

Turns out that it was the MAF...I put the stocker in and things are fine.
I haven't tried cleaning the SLP unit yet, but I will post when I do and let you know if it worked.
Thanks,
Scott
