If Edit is used to turn off some SES codes like AIR,Knock, misfire and maybe PO502 then HPP can't be used anymore?
In order to use Edit you would remove HPP and put to stock PCM.Yes/No
Use Edit to delete unwanted SES/codes only.Download new file to your car.Yes/No
If you used HPP now it would pull the new Edit program out and store it.When the HPP is reloaded with shift points, tune, etc,it will overwrite the Edit program and enable th SES/codes.Yes/No
The reason I ask is I have a chance to turn off my SES/codes with Edit.I will not have time to tune or set shift points with it.
TIA.

This is nothing more than an educated guess! When MTI did my tuning (with codes deleted) I was able to use all HPP functions on top of it. (evening the tuning if I wanted to).
When HPP programs over a PCM, it seems to only overwrite the tables where you made changes.
So my "guess" is, that you could do what you want?

Thanks Sparky.I was thinking along the same lines that if you don'touch the tune or any other things you can use it.
