Did you put too big a hole in the TB? Did you turn the TB idle set screw too much? Both of those will let too much air in. IAC error is probably do to too much air getting in and the idle is too high even with an IAC of zero.

Well I adjusted the TB screw just a lil bit. It actually helped. The TB was a friends of mine. It's a stage II Fastech version.

Before I did the cam/headers my car started to idle high..about 1200 or so. Now that I have the mods it idles at about 2000 when put in neutral while coasting to a stop....then it goes down to about 1450, hangs a bit longer then down to about 1150 once completely stopped. Any input as to what it can be?? I'm getting LS1 edit done eventually but trying to figure out what it is before hand IF I can. I did an a-tap on it last night...detected code PO507 (Idle control systems rpm higher) I was like DUH
Anyone have any ideas as to what I can check. I thought maybe one of my sensors for the TB were bad, but the a-tap proved that it was OK. I checked the EGR the o-ring was off a bit but I fixed it and it still is idling high. I even did the whole idle relearn....it worked on my friends car but not mine
I usually post on LS1.com decided to check you guys out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
