Intermittent DTC code........ I intermittently get the follwing : DTC P1416 (Secondary Air Injection (AIR) System Bank 2)
sometimes it happens at idle, sometimes when cruising at part throttle. sometimes twice in a day, sometimes once in a month any ideas ??
i'm about to just remove the whole freakin air pump system, it pisses me off so bad !

Re: Intermittent DTC code........ It could be a bad check valve on that bank. The PCM purposely runs the AIR pump and looks for a change in the O2's so your system isn't seeing the change it wants on that bank when it runs the test.
Pulling it all off???? That's what I did! Makes changing the plugs a whole lot easier (access wise) and the pump, hoses, etc I guess was around 12-14 lbs.
