Anybody with automatics play with the shift firmness feature? If so how much did you set it up 25% 50% etc etc, also is this harder on the trans. Also anybody see gain's out of advancing the timing, and how much did you raise your factory rev limitor, on an internally stock ls1.

My original trans I had it set at 100% and it felt good. But then I installed a shift kit so I removed the increased line pressure.

I didn't see any help from the HPP3 Power Programming

I raised my rev limiter to 6600 RPM but kept my shifts around 6100... just so that I didn't smack the limiter. I've got my limiter at 6600 now so that I don't hit the limiter while I'm spraying

It's safe to have the rev limitor at 6600?
Also what's the peak power/torque point on a stock ls1, if you had the shift point to far after the peak powwer/torque wouldn't you actually being losing time.

I have the rev limiter set high... but the car still shifts around 6k (peak horsepower at 5500 RPM and stays their). Mainly as a safety... it's not good to run a stock motor at that High of RPM (though I did for about 30 passes when I got the car) but I'd rather have the rev limiter higher so that if for some reason the shift occurs at 6250 RPM it isn't banging the rev limiter, especially on nitrous.
