Default Speedo help please

I just got new 4.11s and my speedo is off by 5-15mph. I have never used a tuner before but I do know a guy who has LSedit. Im not sure if he knows how to calibrate the speedo to the gears but just in case I am wondering what I need to do to calibrate the speedometer?

In HPTuners is as easy as inputting the new gear ratio then flashing the pcm. There is even an auto scale for the tranny if you're an A4 guy which I doubt since you now run the 4:11's.
Unless your buddy has a tuner version of LS1Edit its not likely he can help you with the recalibration. Edit is locked to a VIN so it can't be used on different cars.
Good Luck

Don't wear one.

ok, just read the question. Well, the old LS1Edit was VIN locked, so he might not be able to help you unless they've changed the way they do it. I think a dealership (as much as I hate to send people to them) might could help

Where are you from? Perhaps there is a shop near you that can do it for you. Most places including some of the sponsors here will do a basic tune for $150. The problem is if you can't drive to them you have to remove your pcm and mail it to them which makes your car immobile for a while.
Or see if someone in your area with an f-body has HPTuners, if they do and its for the same model year as yours they can recal. your speedo for you provided they are interested in doing it.
