Default Help w/ SES code.

I just had my SES light come on. After Autotapping it pulled the code P0327 "Knock sensor circuit low voltage" What does this mean? How do I correct this problem?

Thanks.

It means you either have a bad knock sensor, or the harness to the knock sensor is unplugged.

Moving this thread to Computer Diagnostics, not internal engine related.

Jim,
I can't help you with your problem but I have a question for you. My car and yours are set up pretty much the same, do know what the race weight is? Instead of an LS6 manifold I have the Holley and I have GTP Stage II heads and a wolfe 6 point roll bar, looks like the only differences. I saw your times so mine should be close, do you know what your set up weighs? Thanks,

Mark

Do the knock sensors just go bad? There are 2 located under the intake correct? How do I know if it is a bad sensor? Can I get a new one through GM?

Thanks.

Hey Mark. I have not had a chance to weigh my car. The onlthings I have removed from my car are the spare, jack and window washer bottle. I run ET Drags on the rear and 17" SS wheels on the front. My car has at least an 11.8 in it I just need a better 60'.

Later.

Jim
