Codes P1133 and 1153 Fuel Trims locked
Codes P1133 and 1153 Fuel Trims locked I used a tank of leaded 115 octane,that caused the 02 sensors to slow down and when Autotaping today I noticed the Fuel Trims are 0 all the time until the codes are reset. I have some new 02 sensors to install. The thing is, the car runs just as good or maybe better than it has since I put in the 422 engine. I also noticed that only Cells 20 thru 22 were being used. My car ran a 9.77 @ 145 mph with it this way the first time out.
Is this running in Speed Density mode or what? I like the way it runs and it even idles better.
So all you Experts Please Clue me in on Whats Happening. Thanks.

Re: Codes P1133 and 1153 Fuel Trims locked I am tripping p1133, I have a stock motor. I would say my wire is bad or the pcm. I have had 3 different sensors and still the same code. I know the leaded gas will kill your o2’s if you are running really rich you might have carbon built up on the sensor.
