Default throttle body drill mod

Does anyone know if drilling the tb out too much will cause a high idle? I have an a4 with hotcam and computer mods by Ed Wright. I think I went with 15/64. Anyway, the car will idle fine when cold, but when you put it in gear, the idle jumps from about 900 or so to about 1300-1400. When it warms up some, it's ok. I'm not sure if it's tb or the programming. Help !

It very well could.

But to verify you need to put autotap on the car and monitor the IAC counts. Shoot for around 30-40 with everything off, and no higher than 120-140 in drive with a/c on.

Thanks for the help ChrisB. I'm going to atap today, so I should know something. The only problem is that I don't have the a/c hooked up since it wouldn't fit the same way in my 90 car. I'll check the counts where I can and go from there. Thanks again, Sean

Are you looking for that IAC reading in or out of gear? Or does it even matter?
