You're looking for a TPS voltage reading (which I know is in the DOS version) and a throttle % reading (which I know is in the Win version, not sure about the DOS)

The real goal here is to make sure the TB blades are totally parallel. Also, don't go over 4.7V's.

If the car has traction control, make sure you can get the same reading at the gas pedal that you get by manually moving the throttle. (If not, you need to adjust the cable running from the TB to the cruise/TCS cam unit. There is a clip you take off about a foot away from the cams and take up the cable slack)

Hope this helps!

The autotap only measure to the tenth, i.e. 4.6. The throttle position angle says 100% by 4.3 v I believe, so that won't work. Isn't their a way to use a voltmeter to measure it more precisely?

I used a voltmeter to do mine before I bought Autotap. You can use some stiff small gauge wire to stick into the plug. And like Sparky said, the goal here is to get the TB blade at a 90* angle. The computer will usually read 100% open somewhere after 4.2V. If you go to 4.75V you will set a code. If that happens, you could probably bend the stop a little to bring the voltage back and compensate the idle by turning the idle screw in.
