I have a car I am looking at and it has misfires on cylinders, 1, 4, 5, and 6. I think I finally found the source of Knock Retard (bent pushrods). I just have to check them. You can't hear a ticking on this car and that is why it had me stumped.

Re: atap to check pushrods? No misfire codes or anything like that with atap but after some crappy track times I pull it apart. 7 bent pushrods. Got them replaced and it doesn't really seem to be any stronger. The ticking has went away though.

If you are worried, I'd pull them and roll them on glass. Then you can sleep at night. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
It's pretty hard to bend them. You REALLY need to mis a shift HARD... and spin to 7500+
