Went out to Start the TA yesterday and nothing, totally dead. Battery charged, no major problems giggled the key around for 45 minutes, and got it started. Same happened again later in the day. I was thinking that it could be the security chip in the key or something to that effect. Also the security light is stuck on right beneath the SES light. Any idea's what this could be. Thanks,
Jason

No, don't have one, but something tells me that's not going to bring the security light off anyway. What triggers the light, and why would it be staying on?

Try using your door key to unlock the drivers door. That may disarm your system if that is the problem. <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

The resistor pellet in the key is part of the VATS system. Try cleaning your key and cleaning the ignition switch. The car will crank, but will not start. Always look for that security light when that happens.....George
