Setting up LC1 with HPTuners
Ok, so I'm ready to start messing with my PE tuning, and I have HPTuners and an LC-1 wideband sensor. I have no idea how to hook all the stuff up to the laptop to get it to work with HPTuners, and I have not been able to find a thread anywhere with step-by-step instructions. Can you guys help out?

So can I use a cigarette lighter adapter to provide power?
Clarification:
I should be able to hook the +12V up to a cigarette lighter adapter and tie all three grounds into the ground on the adapter, correct?

I got a cig lighter adapter from Radio Shack that has screw-type connectors on the end for (+) and (-) that I use to power and ground my LC1 and also ground the calibration wire to. I use the HPT EIO to ground the wideband signal.
Just remember if you use a cig lighter adaptor instead of solid connections for power/ground that while the wideband is installed you need to always remember to plug in the cig lighter adaptor before starting the car, and likewise to remove it when the car is off so it doesn't drain the battery.
